i have a 2004 salem travel trailer that i park @ a campground. this year when i just hooked up the water the heater won't ignite? gas tanks are full. have tried turning on the switch several times. read the manual which was no help. anyone have any ideas?
first, does the WH have DSI or is it lit manually?
second, make sure all the air is out of the gas lines by turning on the stove's burners until they are burning consistently. this helps purge air in the gas lines.
then try lighting it again.
if this doesn't work, something with the igniter is wrong.
