I feel so stupid.

Guys, I was SO convinced I had the right switch!!! But you are all right. I had wrong switch.

Spent hours with this WITH THE WRONG SWITCH ON!!!!

I love this place. .....but I need a keeper!!!

Not much defense, I admit.....but the way I thought it was is how they told me in pdi.....that's why I think I was so convinced....

Well....just took a shower. Hot at first. Then alternated between lukewarm and cold. When it got cold, turned it off and back on and it would go to lukewarm for a few seconds. Works somewhat....but gotta be better than this.

And got to thinking....still confused as to why water flowed regardless of valve positions. Wonder if I now have that right. I put it back as it was when I picked it up.

If the water heater bypass valve (assuming you have one) is in one position, WATER FLOWS through the water heater. If it's in the other position, WATER FLOWS around the water heater (bypasses heater). You might have a bad valve.

Maybe so. And now ceiling vent fan in bathroom won't come on. Fuse good.

Can I send a 2nd list to Bob for Goshen? Lol

Ok a day after fixing my stupidity and getting hot water it still is intermittent. Can't even finish a shower.

Something is wrong. May be Goshen b4 I figure it out.
