Ok....also it's wrong that I can leave campground faucet on when turn to Gravity feed. When it filled up it overflowed under trailer by the ton....till it got back to just full.

Dunno why heater lights and staya on better on city water....or if it's just been sick all along and finally died.

But no hot water. Back to square one.

If the water was off then maybe the high limit is tripped for the gas section.

I apologize but I don't know what that means.

If the water heater gets to hot it trips the high limit to shut it down. You should have reset buttons on the front side

Assuming you got all your valves the right way and your water heater is not broken I have to say that you are dealing with a Tankless Water Heater which require a specific method to use in the shower/kitchen and Sink in the bathroom. Only turn on the Hot water tap and adjust flow from there. Do not turn on the cold water tap.
Google search the internet - tankless water heater RV (or such like) - and you will find a multitude of threads about them and how to use them.

Ok. Here's the issue.

After 10 days of the above issues and no hot water, we left and stopped at a campground in Nashville on way home. Didn't even unhook and on way home today.

I tried the hot water again. On FWT it still won't light. FLT light comes on every time.

But guess what? On city water it "works". It still fades in and out but from hot to warm instead of hot to cold.

The difference?

Water pressure!!! No other difference.

Geez Louise!!

So I have a hot water system that won't work on FWT at all.....won't work on low fliw....and only sorta works on full pressure.

Unacceptable.....

Concept is wonderful....execution sucks.

They are subject to rate of flow! Some have to take out flow restricters in the shower heads/kitchen tap etc.

We had a trailer with a 1st Gen Tankless. Hated it got rid of the trailer!

I had the same problem but 3 of us and a case of brew we got it working.
1st problem wasn't enough water pressure.
2nd problem valves turned wrong.
Works great now but still takes about 5 to 8 seconds of letting it run to get hot water.
Thanks
