Hot water issue!

2017 Cedar creek 36CKTS. I Am camping in SC and it is our first outing in this camper. Problem: Tankless hot water heater will not produce hot water. Here is our story so far: LP tank full and working as indicated by cooktop works fine. Water flows freely to all faucets including outside shower. Minimal hot briefly at first then gone. Will not revive itself. No hot exhaust from outside. I have checked fuse. Have cycled hot water off on as indicated in instruction booklet. Tried Fw switch to no avail. Any thoughts?

Yes. And it's shut.

But oddly...it doesn't matter what positions the valves are in......I have water. Just not hot.

This thread might help. It's got some interesting insight into tankless water heaters.

Added tankless hot water heater Girard 1GWHM

I've talked through it with someone who has identical unit. His works, mine doesnt.

I'm out of ideas. If it can be tried, I've tried it.

On our 2017 36CKTS I found that it takes 7 -8 seconds of running water to even start to get warm. I also found that a couple of times I had hot water and then it turned cold. I looked at the fault light in the switch panel and found it on so I switched the hot water off then back on. It work after that. I also opened the back panel of the water heater and changed the DIP switches to have 130 F water. So far working okay. It still takes 7-8 seconds of running water to get even close to warm. The tankless works off of water flow so it you take a "camping" shower by getting wet then shutting water off to lather up. It will take another 7-8 seconds to get warm water. This is just what I have found with mine. Might make sure that the propane is actually getting to the water heater. Just another thought are the water lines hooked up correctly with hot on the left.

"Fault light on switch panel"?

Duuno what that is.

I wonder if I'm even doing any of this right.

I can't get it warm at all any more....period.

I just have "tank on" switch. I know, no tank....but that is the switch. The other switch is pump on....for fresh water tank.

Clearly a "cockpit error", but this is driving me insane.
