Hot water problem

2011 Flagstaff 8528BHSS that has only been out about 6 or 7 times. Last year we had great hot water in the shower and everywhere else. This year (first time out over 4th of July) we had luke warm water (and I mean luke warm). Luckily it was 100 degrees where we were or else I do not think we could have took the shower. It seems like the kitchen sink gets warmer than the shower. any ideas?

Just two:

1) Check your bypass valve. If it is open it will draw cold water into the hot water line when there is demand.

2) Check your outside and inside showers. If the valves are opened and the cross shutoff is CLOSED it will act as a bypass and pass cold water into the hot water lines.

Herk boy are you helpful. I will check the bypass and hopefully that is the problem (I bet it is).

Not sure I understand you about the inside and outside showers and the cross shutoff. Where is this cross shutoff and what does it do?

Could not steal the photo - Bummer

Shower Head Only - On/Off - RV/Camper - White | eBay

The cross valve below the head could be closed with the both water valves open. This will allow water to pass from one valve to the other without you knowing the valves are open.
