We have a chrome one from Lowe's that hangs over the lower cabinet door, only $3.99. It doesn't get in the way. But, I'm still looking at the one for $181.00!!! OMG, for a toilet paper holder???

That's a good place too, might try that for next trip. When the grandkids stay with us I think the outside works better for them, they are only 41/2 and 6. At least we have them throwing the paper in the waste basket, Mexican style disposal.

Why, or, as opposed to what?

As opposed to throwing it in the toilet. Eliminated a lot of problems down stream.

Old Coot is right. A friend told us of that to eliminate future problems. We always did that when at friend's homes in Mexico and never saw a problem. I know some people might think it gross, but it works for us. Maybe that could keep us from getting false readings on the black tank sensors.

We used rivet gun and rivets on our hollow wall to hang towell rack and toilet paper roll. No problems after two years of use yet anyway.

It's common practice in countries where the sewage disposal system is less robust.

Get a small covered trash can to reduce the gross-out factor. Use plastic bag liners, of course.
