IF you have cable operated dump valves
My 2000 FR Grand Surveyor GS291 has the enclosed under-belly and the drain line and dump valve handles are located way too far under the unit. Recently I decided to repair/replace the dump valves as I knew the grey water had a small leak. The handles on the valves were always hard to pull out and even harder to push in so I was going to look into that also. What I found is that the cables were 48" long and it was only 26" from the mounting point for the handles to the valves. The extra cable length was pushed up into the belly area in a big "U" shape. Another great engineering job from FR. I decided to extend the drain line and relocate both dump valve handles so they would be close to the edge of the campers wall. Now I don't have to climb under the unit to find the drain line or the valve handles.
