I'm in BIG trouble!

I'm curious.....it seems that a lot of you are suggesting that the bleach will not harm the toilet, but what about the black tank usage. Once you pour bleach down will it not affect the chemicals that you use to break down the solids when in use. You would have to make sure to really flush the tank out in order to make sure all the bleach is gone or the chemicals won't work properly. The other issue I have is my brand new Silverback 33IK that's been winterized won't keep the antifreeze in the bowl. Every few weeks I check the bowl and I have to keep pouring a bit of antifreeze in the bowl so the seal doesn't dry up. I never had this problems in my old 25ft Prowler TT. I remember my old dealer telling me that you could even just have a bit of water in the bowl to keep the seal from drying out.

The black tank is a "holding" tank not a septic tank there's no need wasting money on chemicals to break down solids as they are not in the thank long enough to break down

How much bleach are you pouring in? If the purpose was to clean a toilet, nothing more needed than a spray. If you're thinking of "sanitizing" the tank to kill off bacteria and such, a 1/4-1/2 cup to 15 gallons should do it. I wouldn't worry about chemical reactions unless you're filling your tank with straight bleach.

Cooking oil will also help with toilet seal....pour in and let sit

I'd be worried about putting bleach in there and then someone comes along who just so happens to really need to drop a .......well you know what I mean. Then the next thing you know...........
