Increase Water Pressure?

OK, so the camper had great wter pressure at my house (course I have great pressure there) but at the campsites we've been to it's been minimal. Not even enough to hold the shower head to take a shower. I've removed the pressure regulator I bought to mount on the hose, and same result. What can I do? Is there a Drano type think I can run on the intake to clear any cloggs?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Not sure about the water pressure but I do suggest that you get an Oxygenics shower head to replace the one from the factory. It has made a huge difference in our camper.

Only Low/P at the shower head? If so remove the head and try it! Youroo!! How is your filter?

No, low water pressure at kitchen and shower. Bathroom faucet seems ok but think it's just because of the design.

If the main water filter has never been changed...

Lots of reasons for low water pressure at campgrounds, versus a city supply. For one, liability. Most private campgrounds will be absolutely certain their supply pressure is comfortably lower than the limits for camping unit water systems. They don't want any issues. Secondly, the supply lines, and the number of units being serviced by an individual supply line, as well as the overall length of the supply line. The hydrants are a variable, too. I used to manufacture water hydrants, such as those commonly found at campgrounds, and variations in the packing gland--combined with age and wear and tear-- influence water pressure.

All that being said, since you don't have an issue when connected to a city supply, it would seem to rule out your camper being the issue.

As for where the water filter is, mine is where the city water connection is. But as was said if you don't have the problem at home with the same connection it would have to be the water pressure at the CG.

Well oddly enough my buddy has a TT as well, and his pressure is normal! I even stayed on the same site he did a couple weeks back and I had lower pressure than he did. It's quite odd...and frustrating. Can't take a shower at all.

Is pressure better with pump on with fresh water tank? Just trying to narrow down problem location.

When I bought (see links below) my pressure problems were over.
Also check filter if you have one. Sometime the fixtures can clog with junk from rusty water, clean if needed.

Usually, but not always, soon after the water pump. Looks like about a 10" x 3" clear plastic housing containing a water filter cartridge. There "should be" a plastic wrench in the trailer to loosen the housing.

Mine is under the kitchen sink behind a panel. Not always easy to see.

The first thing that I would do is go to Home Depot and but a inexpensive water pressure gauge and see what kind of pressure are running at home and then test the pressure at the park. I have 90 PSI at home and the parks around here are at 50 or so. There is a big difference between 50 and 90. The oxygenitcs shower head is also well worth the money as others have said. Good luck.

Also you can look for kinked hoses. They can severely limit pressure. I found 2 on my brand new Wolf pack. One was on the intake side of the water pump and the other was on the cold side of the kitchen sink. Apparently Quality Control isn't what it used to be.

Saw a couple videos of your model on Youtube. If it has both the fresh water tank and city water inlet on the rear wall (above the bumper) the filter is likely close to that area. Either in the washroom or near the water heater - maybe in the storage area beside the water heater.

I also have low water psi, I removed the psi reg. and no change in psi. I suspect it is my wtr. filter plugged up, did not want to take out the filter on camp site and break something. I plan to remove the filter at home and re-check wtr. psi.
