Increase Water Tanks Sizes for Dynaquest 300ST

Hello All,

I am new member of this group and new to RVing. I was hoping someone could offer some sage advice.

Has anyone looked into or actually replaced the 36 gallon fresh water tank with a 70 gallon or larger tank for Dynaquest 300ST? That question begs the next one, and increased the grey and black tanks to accommodate the increased fresh water tank.

Is this project that a mere mortal, myself, could do?
If you have had this work done what was the cost?
Is this a terrible idea?

Thanks in advance!
Alan

Have you sourced out the tanks yet?
Have you looked to see IF your unit will accommodate the larger tanks?
Have you looked at how much more support the larger tanks will need VS what your units tanks have now?

Increase Water Tanks Sizes for Dynaquest 300ST

Hi,

I have not looked to see if there is a space or support issue.

Regards,

Also need to look at GVWR. Doubling your FW tank will add considerable weight. The extra 34 gal will add over 272 lbs. Maybe not as big a deal on a Class C, I don't know.

Hi Rockfordroo,

Thanks for responding. The added weight should be within acceptable tolerance.

Regards,
Alan
