Interesting discussion, I was amazed to see the deposits/corrosion on this anode as the camper is only 8 months old. Also had a bunch (and I mean a Bunch!)of the white stuff pour out of the tank with the water as it drained. What's the best thread sealant to use on these? As you can see the manufacturer used teflon tape.
