It's Spring! (well, ALMOST)
Hokay,
Winterized Hybrid and believe I got through the winter unscathed.
Now, Spring is coming, and I have questions.
First off, how long do I have to wash out the fresh water tank since I followed the book and not this forum and put the pink anti-freeze into it?
Second, once the water is clean and useable, where do I drain the grey water tank? Will that pink stuff poison/corrode/contaminate/react with.... plants/asphalt/soil?
Next year, I'll do better! I promise.

Fill fw tank with 1 cup of bleach per 1 tank of fw.
Run through all lines till you smell bleach.
Then let sit 24 hrs.
Drain tank
Refill and flush lines again.
Install internal filter if you have one and un-by pass hw heater.
Pink antifreeze is non toxic!

I fill then empty the lines with pink stuff, and do as above in the spring -flush, fill with bleach, let sit, flush, and go!
I just let the water run out in the yard. Grass is dead under the camper anyway!

THATS how I parked it one night after grooming 30 miles worth of trail .
IT also keeps the beer cans from falling out the drivers door when I open it to say hi to the IOWA DNR .
What he doesn't know wont hurt him .
Besides I needed the VIN number off the bottom of the chassis to order a new inclinometer .
Just sayin

NO they put it on the bottom so as they can read it easier before they roll it over. AAA needs it for the tow truck records or something when they send a bill.

I usually just flush the system with fresh water and go. Should I be doing the other stuff as well?

Chassell to Houghton isn't groomed but everyone uses the lake from Chassell to Houghton. The Twin lakes to Copper harbor trail has 2-3 feet today.

Beware of city rules when it comes to dumping your tanks. This can differ from one city to the next.
