You've received some good advice and I'll try to add a little more.
Since the hose that is kinked is braided, you CAN cut off the existing clamp (a PEX band clamp) and use an automotive type worm clamp.
Should you ever need to make modifications to the PEX tubing (the red and blue stuff) you WILL need to use a PEX clamp. They are designed especially for PEX tubing and you do need a special installation tool. (they make several styles) Using worm clamps on PEX tubing will fail.
The reason the factory uses PEX clamps on braided hose is simply for speed. They have the clamps and the tools and since they are clamping PEX, they also use them for braided hose too.
