Kitchen faucet - low hot water pressure

2011 Salem 30' QBSS TT - my in-laws have an issue with their kitchen hot water pressure. The bathroom hot water flow is fine and all of the cold water taps seem to be fine as well. I took the kitchen tap screen off and that ok. Any ideas how to trouble shoot this?

Significantly Low water pressure to a single faucet in the trailer likely means there is a blockage somewhere on the line that supplies that faucet, or it could be the faucet itself.

First, I would try to find the water line that feeds that faucet, and trace it where it T's off from the main supply. This may be difficult, as the plumbing is hidden behind walls etc. But look where you can, and see if there are obvious signs of water line kinks.

If it's the faucet, you might be able to find a replacement insert for the hot water tap. disassemble the faucet, remove the valve insert, take it to your local hardware store and try to find the exact replacement. If not, the entire faucet can be replaced.

If you believe there is a clog in the line, you could try to remove the line from the faucet, put the end in a bucket and force water through. If it runs fast, then it's likely the faucet, or the clog was forced through. If the line remains clogged, you could try and rig a water hose to the end of the line and back flush it into the water heater. Drain the water heater first if you're going to try this, and keep the drain plug open to allow the debris to get flushed out.

My guess though is that it's the faucet. The seals and o-rings on the faucet valve inserts are not the best quality. It could be an o-ring caught in the valve obstructing flow. If you notice the tap for the hot water especially more stiff than the others, this is definitely your problem

I don't know if they put inline filters on the hot side, but know most kitchen lines have filters of some sort (ours is before the T to the hot and cold lines). A gummy filter would slow it up......

How do I prevent the hot water from flowing when I disconnect the water line under the faucet? Then, how do I make it flow again to test the pressure?

Got any recommendations on how I can rig up the contraption to flush the line back into the water heater? I do have air compressor if needed.

If it's the faucet, can I just replace it with home type faucet?

Yes on replacing faucet, highly recommended.

If you just use your pump you'll just have to get rid of the water inside the line in a bucket and after that have somebody switch on the pump for a few seconds that way you'll see if the clog is inside the line or at the faucet

Quick update. I purchased a new house type faucet and installed it in the trailer. It works perfectly . Hot and cold water pressure is better than before.

The water lines were hard to unscrew but with lots of patience I managed to get the vice grips on there. Once the lines were loosened I used my hand.
