Kitchen faucet problems

I have a 2006 Forest River Wildcat that I bought used. I have water to the shower, toilet and bathroom sink but no water to the kitchen faucet. I believe I do have water going to the faucet but no water when I turn it on. Could the faucet actually gone bad to not have water at all coming in? Will any brand of faucet work as a replacement as long as the hookups match and the measurements are the same as the faucet holes in the counter?

Any faucet will work, but you can also try unscrewing the aerator and either replacing it or cleaning out the screen.

I would:

1) Remove the faucet aerator screen - it could be clogged or rusted shut
2) Remove the valve(s) and inspect the rubber seals and springs - they may be clogged, hard and stuck, broken completely.
3) Since it was bought used, you could also have non-standard shut off valves in the lines or some other bizarre problem.

faucet problems

I tried removing the aerator but still no water to the kitchen sink. . Also this is a one handle faucet that doesn't want to come apart to check. So minus the headache I will probably just buy a new faucet, one with both hot and cold handles.

Try Herk's advice above. The faucet is mostly the cassette style valve. Look for a way to remove the handle (set screw).

Also trace the lines going to the faucet itself.

While it is possible the faucet itself failed, usually failure is not be able to shut off rather than not turning on.
