Kitchen Sink Backed up

We have a '08 Forest River Cardinal. A couple of nights ago our sinks backed up. We emptied the tank, plunged (with opposite drain plugged) and then took the p-trap off. The trap was completely clean. I used a 10ft. snake last night and no issues poking through. Put everything back together and after about 30 seconds of running water, it starts backing back up again. Checked the vents on top of the trailer and no issues. What do we do now? The plan this evening after work is to use the snake from the water tank. Any other ideas?

Chech the air admittance valve. Its at the top of the drain pipe after the P trap. They do go bad. Lowes or Home Depot has them.

You don't say if this is a new to you Cardinal or not. If this is new to you, it is possible that you have more than one grey tank and one is full and one drained. I don't know the config of the tanks on an 08.

My apologies - We purchased this camper in May of last year and have been living full-time in this ever since (we're building a house). We do have two gray water tanks.

This sounds like a full grey tank. Perhaps the tank is not draining properly.

Unlikely, but someone on here recently had their camper at such an angle, water backed up in the sinks before it made it past the ptrap. If you're not level, get level and try again.

Good luck.
