Kitchen Sink Plugs

Hi all. Just recently purchased a 2012 Tracer 2670BHS. 2 short trips and everything is coming together nicely. Everything seems to be in its place and looking forward to the upcoming 10 day trip trip this week from the west coast to Calgary.
Just curious. Has anyone else had any issues with the dual front sinks plugs not fitting right. It is almost as though they grabbed them out of the wrong bin to throw in the sink. They fit in fine, but do not fit deep enough to seel the sink so the water just drains right out. Have to put a rag in when we did the dishes.
Spoke to the dealer who said to come on by...he advised they may have to order from the manufacturer....just seemed kind of odd that both didnt fit.

Other than that really enjoying the trailer.
Cheers,
Rick

Welcome to the forum!

You are aligning the bottom of the strainer with the slot in the sink drain, right? When it's aligned, the strainer drops down a 1/2" and seals.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I thought the same thing. Not really rocket science here. Not to mention I may have had to do the dishes at home once or twice. Try spinning it a whole bunch of ways to no end. I am gonna get the measuring tape out. It is almost like diameter is off right at the top and therefore it sits flush, but wont slip in that 1.5 inch like normal household ones do. I ll keep ya updated.

Well I just went out with the measuring tape and sure enough the plugs are a whole 1/8 inch wider than the opening.
I took a few pics. Guess it is back to the dealer to order in new.
