KW1 filter

I am waiting for my KW1 water filter to arrive and wondering if anyone has used their water without the filter cartridge and if it is a problem to do so, thanks

I took my filter out last October when I winterized and have never bothered putting a new one in.

Sure you can use it without, but just gotta remember you're not filtering then. No harm to the lines, and in most cases, no harm to you either.

Thanks, I thought so because some don't have them but wanted to make sure it wasn't going to cause a pressure issue

water filter

We always use a water hose inline filter to stop anything from getting into the system at all, not after it makes it to inside filter.
