Leaking fresh water tank

We have a 2010 Roo 21SS and the fresh water tank is leaking between the tank side wall and the fill connection snub. I am assuming that they drill a hole in the side of the tank and then bond the snub in place. It is a very small leak and I thought at first that it was the connection at the hose but I investigated further today and it isn't the hose connection.

I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if it was a hassle to have the warranty repair done? Is there an access port on the top of the tank to get inside it? Is the tank hard to remove? I have a through hull fitting that I could install. I really don't want to have a hassle on the warranty.

Thanks for any info you folks may have.
