Exactly. To my knowledge there is no fitting made that is pex/barbed. They would have to use pex to threaded and then threaded to barbed.

Since they have a hard enough time getting any connections not to leak, adding more into the mix is most likely not a good idea.

Its just plumbing done by Shoemakers. Carry lots of clamps.

You are correct in saying there is no PEX to barbed fittings made. I looked hard before converting to all PEX. It took some work but now have a leak free camper!
