This is our setup.

* 10 ft sewer hose X 2
* 45 degree clear sewer connector
* Mounted an expandable sewer hose storage tube under rig. Accepts the bigger type of sewer hoses.
* Accordion sewer hose holder.
* Lightweight expandable water hose. When hooked up it expands to 50' long. When not it contracts to about 8 ft. Great for hookup to black tank flush or can use to wash down rig. Very light.
* Brass Y water connection. One side has pressure regulator for potable water. The other side has anti syphon for the expandable hose.
* 50 ft potable water hose. 25' extra hose in tote with nitrile gloves, bleach wipe and spray to sanitize things.
* 20 ft 50 amp power cord that came with rig. Have 15' extension 50 amp cord if needed. Also have surge protector/circuit tester.
Has worked very well for us. Put this together based on reading things on this forum. This forum rocks.

Typically, the kit you get from the dealer has low quality stuff, especially the sewer hoses.

Here is my inventory:

Power

1 - 30' OEM power cord + two 25' extension cords, all 30 Amp (I actually needed them all one time)

1 - 25' 12/3 extension cord (just in case of whatever)

Black and Grey Water

1 - 20' sewer hose (Camco RhinoFLEX brand)

2 - 15' sewer hoses (also Camco RhinoFLEX brand) (I regularly need a 20' + a 15' extension, don't recall ever using all 3 sewer hoses)

plus various accessories for the RhinoFLEX hoses

1 - 25' black water flush hose (regular green garden hose)

Fresh Water

2 - 25' 5/8" water hoses (Teknor Apex brand, "never kink")

I keep all of the above in a single Rubbermaid container with a lockable lid.

For sites without water, I have 2 - 5 gallon Reliance AquaPak water containers and a foldable dolly to carry them from the nearest water tap.

I also have 50' of RG6 coax cable for the satellite dish.

I’m guessing you would do this when boondocking? I don’t think campgrounds or other campers would like it.

Here is my quick thought on the sewer hose. Do you have a place to store the hose built into your trailer ie: the bumper? If so buy a sewer hose with out the elbow permanently connected. It won't fit in the bumper. I bought the Rhino 15' configuration that does not have a permanent connection. I then bought another 15' for those times I need a lot more. My trailer has 2 sets of connections so I need a "Y" connector for the black/gray bathroom and gray for kitchen. So yes a 3rd short section of hose to run from the "Y" to the dumping point.
My black water flush is on the non-street side of the trailer so look all around the trailer for it. Plus only flush the black water with you dump valve open. You will regret it if you don't.
I use 75' of fresh water hose for when I am dry camping at Rollins Pond, NY. This way I can temp hook up to water when I run out. Came in real handy this past year from me and SIL.
Good luck in your choices.

We also have two drains. I went with the Rhino with a Y connection and used 2 valves to segregate the 2.. Rhino twist lock fittings are great to insure no leakage

Curious why don't you use your regular water hose for the black water flush? It's not going to have anything in it other than water. Not sure why it's necessary to carry 2 hoses.

My trailer is on a permanent site in MA. My gray always runs away from the camper into the woods via a garden hose. No sewer so I dump the black into a 45 gallon honey wagon once a week and haul it to the dump station.

Hoses and electric coeds.

At some time you will need more of everything. I always carry an extra 25 foot power cord, fifteen feet of sewer hose plus a ten foot extension, I like short fresh water hoses so I carry five 10 foot hoses, if you flush out the black water tank you may also need the same amount of “black water” flush hoses. You will need a clear adapter to connect the sewer hose to your RV. This allows You to see when the tank is empty. You will also need adapters to hook the sewer hose to the actual sewer drain at the RV Park. This will include a doughnut for pipes without threads, plus you need a threaded adapter that will fit three sizes of sewer drains. I carry two 25 foot coax “TV” cables. Most of the time I use one or none. Some remote campgrounds may have water over 100 feet from your RV. Do not forget to take
your “ BLUE” tank to empty your black water tank when camping with no sewer hookup. Do take electric power adapters for every kind of hookup, 30 amp to 50, 50 to 30, 30 to 20, and anything else you can think of. You will need a voltmeter and tester to check for proper wiring. This not all but it is start.

I would add a water thief to the mix. Hauled one for 6 years before I needed one at Forrest Service campground. They had installed a setup that only allowed for sewer dump station clean up.

I wouldn't want to contaminate my fresh water hose if there was a backup up from the flush connection to the hose. Which could happen if you don't have your black water valve open properly. I also spray bleach on water spigot to sanitize before I use it, because there are campers that don't keep there sewer flush hose separate from their fresh water hose thus contaminating the water spigot.

Correction... my fresh water hoses are not kept in the Rubbermaid bin with the sewer hoses. My TT has an external storage compartment with shelves and I keep the water hoses and electrical cords in that storage compartment. I connect both ends of the water hoses to avoid potential contamination or bugs getting in them. The Rubbermaid bin goes in the bed of the truck.

That seems like a good idea.

Not sure about the black tank flush backing up however. Seems almost impossible.

Code requires a backup prevention device so it must happen often enough. FR installs them in the line between the inlet port and the nozzle in the tank but they’re a cheap plastic vacuum break valve. I’ve often seen a brass vacuum break valve on the water supply spigot at dump stations. You definitely don’t want to contaminate the water supply source. This is why many (hopefully most) people have a dedicated black tank flush hose.

No black tank flush on my '02. Guess they hadn't thought of it back then. We use a clear 45 just flush the toilet.

Black tank flush

Usually there is a hose at the dump station for black flush. However some rv don't have that hook up. It's not required. You can flush, occasionally through the commode with a wand. Simple to make one from pvc.

Sewer Hose

I agree with everyone except I carry a 10' and a 20' sewer hose with all attachments in place. Very rarely is anything beyond the length of the 20' hose. Carry an attachment to join the two if the 20' won't reach.

It's probably already obvious, but a lot of this is highly dependent on how/where you camp.

For example, I have never camped in a full hookup campground and have no plans to do so. They're just not common where I camp ... I camp in the mountains at USFS and State Parks where you're lucky to have running water (as opposed to hand pump), count your blessings if there are flush toilets, and start believing in miracles if you have power.

So, my only use for sewer hoses will be a dump station. If I need more than 15' at a dump station, I think that's on me for doing a terrible parking job!

In 6 years, I never needed an extension for my 30A power cord on my PUP. And, there were one or two backward campsites with the tables/fire ring on the driver side and the power box on the passenger side. Boy, how I hate backward campsites.

Anyway, I'll camp with 15' sewer hose, sewer flushing garden type hose, a short fresh water hose, and that's it.

Good luck.

I've been at several dump stations, particularly Provincial Parks here in Ontario, that provide a rinse hose that doesn't have a hose fitting on the end of it. I suppose, as long as there's no one waiting in line, you could always put one of these fittings on the end of the hose and just leave it for the next guy to use too.

Having the flush port on the side of the trailer is a really nice convenience. Beats the heck out of pulling a hose through the trailer to the toilet and using a wand like we had to do on our 2010 Roo.
