Lessons Learned

1.) Don't winterize when it's COLD!
2.) Don't remove the drain plug on the water heater with 40 psi pressure after forgetting to turn the bypass valves!
3.) Don't turn on the shower with the head pointing at you!
4.) Don't winterize when it's COLD! Oh, already had that one...
5.) If using air pressure, wear a rain suit!
6.) In case you forget #5, bring a towel!
7.) If you ever see me in a park, don't ask me how I know about this...

Yep... my first time...

And also if the wife is your helper, remind her to close the washer feed before you start pumping anti freeze through the system

Why would you winterize if it's not cold? That's the only time I do it as if it ain't freezing I want to camp. (Sometimes when it is freezing I want to camp) Several years ago the kids woke DW and myself up with "Can we go out and play in the snow" very funny guys, no, really, it's snowing dad. OMG, towing a 33' trailer in the snow is not what I had planned. Fastest camp breakdown we ever did. 😅
