My built in water filter has leaked for the last time....

Wasn't going to let a cracked fitting ruin a holiday weekend, so tonight I cut the filter out, cut a short piece of PEX, crimped in a couple of elbows with the PEX, and went to WalMart and picked up a disposable external filter.

I'm now back to my campfire with my Smithwicks, and the remains of my built-in filter are headed for the dumpster!

To compensate for this removal you can by one that fits on the hose before entering the trailer.

nice and easy fix - you can also get a whole house filter like what was in the trailer and go to home depot to get the fittings to make it attach to your house so you can still have the same filter with a clear container to see the filter.
