My winterizing contraption...

Hope this may help some folks out, or at least make their life easier. I scoured the local hardware store for pieces to make winterizing a little easier since this is my first time. Here is what I came up with:
On my particular model, there is a winterizing drop leg under the trailer on the FW line to the pump. So all I have to do is flip the valve to close the tank and open to the drop. I picked up a 1/2" PEX male to 1/2" compression 90*, Some 1/2" ID plastic tube (5/8 OD so it fit in the compression), a 1/2" MPT to barb, a 1/2" slip to MPT 90 PVC fitting and used some 1/2 PVC I had laying around.
After assembly, I can screw the PEX onto the trailer fitting and run the tube over to my bucket of AF. Then I can turn the pump on and begin the purge. The PVC pipe keeps the suction from the bottom of the bucket. I had prior issues with the hose wanting to curl and I'd end up getting air. Using just the gallon jug meant I had to switch jugs several times. Now I can put 4 gallons in the bucket and go. Plus, everything for the process fits in the bucket and I can store it in the garage like that.

Very similar to what I did for my 2018 Cherokee we bought two years ago. I found the bucket to be easier than using the jug and I know how much I need to put in bucket without having to refill it.
