Need to take out gray water tank to make repair

Wow! It's been a while since I found myself on this forum, but after a weekend trip, I need a "forum consult" before I tackle a repair. I need to drop the gray water tank to get to a section of underfloor above it. Here's the full scoop....

It's a 2009 Rockwood 2607. The first 3 or 4 years were completely mouse-free, but since then, we've been plagued with winter mouse visits. We've always looked everywhere we could to find even the TINIEST of holes and plugged them, but the mice return as if on schedule, every winter. This weekend, we took a trip over some particularly bumpy roads, and some mouse turds vibrated out from under the shower, and area inaccessible from the inside, and on the underside blocked by the gray tank.

When we got home today, i crawled underneath, and found a very poorly designed and installed "flap" of corrugated plastic over the shower trap, which has come loose and buckled. There was enough room to get my fingers up inside, and when I did, I came out with a handful of mouse turds. YUCK!!!! I can patch it as poorly as the original install was done without dropping the tank, but if I drop the tank, I can do it correctly!

Sp here's my question - How do the inflow pipes attach to the tanks? Is it a glued-up fitting? I took the removable crossbar that braces one side of the tank off, but the tank still feels solidly connected. It's started to rain, so I just picked everything up, and figured that I'd get on-line and do some research.

Anyone ever dropped a tank (on purpose) before? What's the secret(s)?

I put an extension on a can of spray foam and unloaded the entire can up there. I also got some mouse deterrent that comes in a pouch and you can just toss the pouch under the shower. Works great and keeps mice away from the entire trailer.
I'll get the name of it next time I'm at the trailer.
