Tincup

Check water pump, sometimes they ave a bypass for anti freeze if that is set to on then you get nothing.

Just purchased NEW last evening. Did walk thru with salesman, water worked, salesman put inline filter in bottle. We stop filled fresh water tank 2/3 full.
Got to Rv Park hook up trailer no city water available then try 12V systm can't get a drop. Pump runs n, water. Need help

Thanks

Tincup

It sounds like a air lock - air in the line - open several faucets to see if you can get the air out of the line.

You did not say if the trailer was on city water at the dealership.
Obviously you should check the drain valve on the tank and that there is still water in the tank. I presume you have done that.

Other possibilities might be:
If the trailer has an antifreeze kit installed, the three way valve might be turned in the wrong direction or the cap may not be on the fitting.
Reversed polarity on pump causing pump to run backwards.
Loose pickup hose at tank so that pump is sucking air, not water.
Defective pump.
I also am presuming that, since you had water at the dealer, that your piping and faucet aerators are not clogged.
Hope you find the problem soon.

Thanks, it was working @ dealer, the inline filter container has only a couple inch in it. I think it may be a air problem

My bad.
There were duplicate threads in different forums.
I tried to combine them since both had answers.
I have done this successfully B4 but somehow it totally
went wrong this time. I couldn't figure out how to
undo it so it stands.
Glad he found the problem.
(Gee I hope they don't dock my pay )
