New Record

Picked up our new xlr 386x12 a week ago Thursday, started loading it on sat and noticed water coming out the belly pan. Back to the dealer on Monday, the thought was the drain line for the fresh water tank had not been tighten at the bottom of the tank. Friday it was found that the tank needs to be replaced. Its 15 days out from forest river, then install time. Hope this is not a sign of things to come, would have been nice to have a shake down cruise before having to take it back to the dealer. Well at least I set a personal record on not getting out of my driveway before I had trouble with a new rig.

Sorta shows the dealer did a poor job in checking out the unit before delivery! I would request the dealer to run every system, heater, hot water heater, a/c on the unit before you pick it up, he should have done that to begin with.

Agreed. On the FRF website is a Library link. In there is a PDI checklist. I'd definitely plan on walking thru that point by point to make sure everything is on the up and up when you get it back.
