No hot water

This is the first year we had a camper to dewinterizre. Every thing went well unil we tried the hot water. We get warm water for a second then it turns cold. We can hear the hot water pump run. We have a 231kss roo. Any thoughts ?

you don't have the bypass valves set correctly . there are many posts on the subject and someone will post pics of how it should be . also just one pump for the water system

The same thing happened to me last year, checked the water heater pop off valve and heater was full and water hot. Checked further I forgot to close the by pass valve. I am sure someone will chime in with some pics. Easy fix, just frustrating wife was NOT happy with the thoughts of a cold shower. Good luck

Thank you for reporting back. Our forum works better when "Question Askers" return and report the results of their attempting suggested fixes.

I assume you get nothing no hot or cold water from the hot side but you do have cold water on the cold side in the kitchen faucet ? correct if so then you have a kinked line or blockage . check the angle stops under the sink and make sure there on .

From the sink to the floor there is no visible kinks or valves and every thing under trailer is sealed , I don't see how it could be plugged bought it new and only used it a few times, guess I'm going to have to take the insulation off the bottom , thank you for the help

Assuming the cold side works and it's just the hot water . you either have a blockage which is not unusual on a new unit or the line is kinked somewhere . did it work before it was winterized ? there could have been a partially kinked line that over the winter and cold closed off completely . maybe the faucet cartridge for the hot is clogged with construction debris . Start with the easiest thing and work your way to the oh **** thing

Before going to that difficult work, I'd suggest removing the HW line to the faucet and see if you can get any water flow through the line itself. (Use a bucket...) That will tell you if the obstruction is further upstream or if it might be in the faucet itself.

Even though new, there's plenty of chances for construction debris to clog the line or the faucet. Shouldn't happen but it is frequently reported here.

If it's in the faucet you might be able to back-flow (or back-blow) it out towards the input side. If not, you may have to disassemble and see where it is. Catch everything that comes out in a bucket or in the sink itself so you'll know when you have caught the culprit!

Good luck!
