No water after filter was installed

Just installed the first water filter in our 2017 Sunseeker Motorhome. Don't know what the problem is, once the filter was installed, turned on the pump and opened the faucets and there is no water coming through the lines.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Were you using the System "Without a Element Installed" and now you have installed it and No Flow? Do you have Flow using "City Water"? Youroo!!

Since this is your first time, is the winterization valve (the valve positioned before the pump) still turned to draw from the antifreeze port? Try rotating the selector lever to be in-line with the hose coming from the freshwater tank

No water after water filter change

Hi
New motorhome, came with the filter system but the dealership did not install the water filter. During the walk through the turned on the kitchen tap and there was water flowing. Not sure now if they were hooked up to the city water or not. We have not used the water and installed the filter, opened up all the taps, waited a bit and then turned on the pump, water started to come through and then slowed to nothing.
No problem with the water flowing when hooked up to city water. All taps inside and the outdoor shower works on city water. I can see the water flowing through the filter.
Thks

If it works on city water, it's probably not an issue with the filter.

Just to check, are you sure there's water in the FW tank for the pump to use?

Can't remember the brand of system I had when it happened but I put the filter in upside down (didn't know there was a right side up) and the flow stopped.

Yes, there is water. The dealership filled the water and we can see the level is full on the control panel

Filter can go in either way, exactly the same top and bottom

have you checked post #3 off your list? There also is an inline strainer between the holding tank and the pump. Verify it is not clogged.

When you turn the pump on, does it build pressure and turn off?

Had the same thing happen at a site in NorCal. Turns out the water supply at the campground had silt buildup and instantly clogged the filter, choking off the water supply. Took the filter off and all was well. Have you tried running water w/o the filter attached?

In order for the pump to pull water out of your tank make sure the filter bottle is full of water when you put it back on or the pump will not work. Ask me how I know.

Check the actual filter both ends should be open, Aprox 1 inch opening on each end. I had purchased a filter that had 2 very small holes 3/16 in the center of the filter and had no water flow from it. Got the correct filter and that corrected the problem.

No water after new filter

If you disconnect fw line and hook up winterizing tube in water do you get water were through pump? It only takes a small drop of ice to make pump fail at the . Try unhooking discharge side of pump and see what happene.

Pump doesn't build pressure so it doesn't shut off

The filter is the same on both ends with one inch opening. The dealer supplied the filter just didn't install it.
