No water in our FR Legacy

Please help!! We are leaving for a trip tomorrow and have no water coming through any faucets. We have a full tank of water. We are hooked up to electric at our house at the moment. When we turn the water pump on and the the faucets on.......absolutely nothing happens. We have checked the by pass valves and they seem to be in the right position. Also checked the fuses. What else could we be missing. The RV has already been at the shop three times since tour trip in April. I really don't want to have to take it in again

Do you hear any noise from the water pump when you turn on the water? The pump runs off of 12V power, which means the batteries. Are you sure that you have the house battery switch turned on?

Very frustrating!

Yes the house batteries are on. When we turn on the pump it sounds like it is pumping for a second or two and then silence and then nothing no water not even a trickle

Sounds like the system is pressurizing; check the faucet aerators for being clogged.

Still Frustrated

Yes the system has worked fine in the past. Just got it back from the shop. Watched them change the water filter and test the water after and it worked fine (used outside shower to test). Got it home and nothing. Could the water pump have kicked the bucket?

I wouldn't normally recommend this . . .

. . . but it does sound like the system is pressurized. To verify, and to eliminate any valve issues: turn the pump off. Unscrew the drain plug from the water heater SLOWLY. It should spurt out water (not just a dribble). Don't remove completely. If it does spurt, you had pressure. Turn the pump back on. It should cycle off and on as the water continues to spurt out around the drain plug. If this works, at least you have confirmed the pump is good and you are drawing water from the tank (you did make sure it's not on antifreeze fill/bypass - right?).
Good luck!

water filter before the pump plugged?
I had city water in my system but if i filled the tank and tried to pump it, it was not there.
the filter coming from the tank before the pump was full of sawdust from where they had assembled the trailer. Changed the filter and - plenty of water after that.
Might assist...
might not...

You indicated the tank was full, but how are you verifying that? Could it possibly be a bad indicator and the tank is actually empty? Just a suggestion, but you might try adding water to the tank just to check.

Found it

Well had to take it in for service because we couldn't figure it out. It was a kink in the house located in back of the board that the filter is connected to. Cant see the kink can only feel it by sticking your hand up behind the board and following the hose

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions!!!!!
