No water pressure from city connection, but fine from the tank

I have a 2012 Wildwood 29BHBS. When hose is connected to city water, i get a burst of pressure then a little dribble. When I fill my tank, i can run off of it fine. Any and all sugestions will be very helpful.

Does water flow through hose from cg faucet OK when disconnected from RV?

Is your water pressure regulator stainless? They will shut down after a few times using. Don't know why. Take regulator out of loop to check.

Yes Water flows fine from the source. I have taken the regulator out of the loop as well.

Check your screen where your hose hooks to your camper a friends camper was plugged with rust there.

Sounds like the check valve on your city inlet may be toast.

Seems the only other reason would be as previously stated or perhaps a check valve at the trailer input. Go figure.

I had the same problem on my rig. After checking all of the above, when I pulled out the city fill fixture I noticed the hose had a kink in it. The hose was looped so I would get some water initially, then as pressure built up it would close off at the kink. Straighten out the hose. Now everything works fine.
