I have a 6 inch round PVC pipe on the back bumper of my 5er. I got a plastic eves-trough, cut it in half and it sits under my rhino flex hose. I can use one piece or both pieces to rest the hose on. I also have a long piece of blue hose that is used with the blue tote in the back of the truck. The one end has a cap glued on and the other end has a metal cap on a hinge that I can lock and it has a spring type hasp to keep the cap closed. I drilled holes into the pipe for drainage and they are on the bottom. When I bought the metal cap it came with two hold down brackets that the pipe fits into and that is bolted through the rear bumper. No muss, no fuss. Works for me.

Hijack or not, we need more than just a photo my friend

so it stores in the bumper (with the ladder) somehow attached to your ladder and the holes are used for what?

There are slots in the end to hook on the ladder, one slot is down, one is up. The holes are for clothes hangers.

Enlarge the picture and look where it hooks on the ladder.

I also used the 5 x 5 vinyl fence posts from Lowes and painted them to somewhat match the trim on my RV. Added the gutter slides for easier access. Still need to do some touch up paint and add a few drainage holes.

I just hold mine on with a couple short bungee cords. A U-bolt on the cover and an eyehook on each side.

I have both types under my trailer. The 5x5s keep sewer hose and gutter for making long runs to the connection.

And the round tubes hold my pvc awning poles that I built last year. I just got a set of brackets from OC to put the painter's poles on the awning permanently which will free up one of the tubes. Carpet in the other now.
