On trip and kitchen sink must have a gremlin in it
We are on a trip to Tetons/Yellowstone and my DW is convinced we have a gremlin in out kitchen sink. 4 parks so far with hookups. We are using a 50psi regulator. First park, full pressure bath and shower (actually every park), but sink has a trickle. I checked the aerator, removed the head completely, still a trickle. Checked for kinks, found nothing. Convinced we needed a new faucet. Park 2, a little more pressure, but still not good. Park 3, no pressure, dripping. I was going to replace the faucet at park 4. But then, park 4, about 75% flow day 1. Day 2, full pressure. Told the DW I fixed it, but really never touched it. (She knew better that's why the gremlin comment). What am I missing?

I had to take hot and cold valves out and clean. Had a plastic shaving hung in one and faucet wouldn't turn off. This showed up after two years of ownership.
Might try looking there.

Valves? The sink is one unit, you mean valves by the hot water heater?

There is small insert valve(s) inside the faucet itself that meter the water from the handle.

How do I get to that? How does this faucet come apart?

In post #2 in the reference to "valves" the poster meant "cartridges". Both single handle and the two handle faucets nowadays have cartridges in them. In post #7 rracer5 is correct on how to remove that particular cartridge. In post #2 the statement "Had a plastic shaving hung in one and faucet would not turn off" is all too common. Don't forget the sink in the bath and the bath/shower faucet also.

They have you headed in right direction, cartridge is the correct term.
Have you checked out yet?

Check for junk where pullout faucet hose connects to main assembly.

We are still in Yellowstone so haven't had the time to pull it apart, especially since it is working, for now. Sounds like I have the option to check out the cartridge in the faucet, or replace the faucet it. Can I use a standard resi one? Does it need to be some sort of low flow one? Is the hole the faucet slides through the same size as for a resi faucet? If I stay with my current faucet is the cartridge replaceable ?

Try just getting under there and turning valves under sink off and on. Sometimes that dislodges any debris that's hung up in em, if your crunched for time. Yellowstone is awesome, enjoy.

Powerman I'm confused. Do you think stuff is caught in the valves not the cartridge as others have said? There are no sink valves but the valves from the water heater. Is this what you mean?
