Outside Shower on our Solera

Probably a silly simple thing, but we don't know how to operate our outside shower on our new Solera. Can anyone help?

Should be the same as the inside shower. Hot & cold taps with hose and shower head. You'll need either a city water hookup or water pump turned on inside to create the water pressure.

Check the switch on the shower head isn't turned off if nothings coming out.

We use ours just as much for filling up the dishpan as we do for a quick rinse off of our feet or after a swim.

No, this is simply a coiled up hose with a nozzle on one end and a push in hook up on the other. There are no knobs and no shower head. We are stumped!

No, sounds if they stumped the shower installation! Some pipefitter went to lunch and forgot to finish. Should be a hard pipe manifold with C/H handles and of course the shower head.......Do you see the red/blue piping running nearby in the compartment?

Pull the coiled hose out of the compartment. Take the end (not nozzle) and push hard into the fitting while pulling back on the sliding retainer. This may not be clear but basically you are pushing the hose in the hole while pulling the retainer head back. It's very hard to insert the first time..Don't give up...

Really an outside cold water hose spigot. You plug the connector on the end of the blue hose coil into the connector in the middle of the compartment where it is stored. If you are familiar, it is like an air hose connector used on many shop air compressors. It plugs in quite hard. I hold the retaining ring (on the coach mounted connector) back and sometimes turn off the water and release the water pressure to get it to snap on. Once connected (and the water back on) just open the hose nozzle. I find it quite useful as an outside hose spigot - e.g, for washing the coach - but had an aftermarket hot/cold outside shower installed for "outside shower" needs.

Don't hasve a photo, and the RV is at the storage area - but I believe this link is to something essentially identical.
RV Exterior Shower Box Kit in White - Includes Shower Faucet,Shower Hose,Shower Wand : Amazon.com : Automotive
I had dealer install - they put it on the wall above and to the left of the facilities compartment - tapping into the water lines for the bathroom sink. I believe.

Thanks to all you who responded. We were doing what you both said but no water was coming out. Thought we might be missing something but when you verified that we were doing it right, we decided we better take it in and have it checked out. Turns out we had a kinked hose. They replaced and re-routed it so it works fine now.
