Oxygenics Failure

Went to de-winterize my rig this weekend and found an unexpected surprise . . .

The shower head broke clean off and put a hole in the tub. The trailer was parked and locked in my driveway since just after Labor Day.

Anyone seen anything like this? Now I have to figure out who/how to repair it (and fund it). It's less than a year old, so I'm not inclined to patch it.

No, mine broke there too.

Over-tightened, most likely; same as mine.

Good news - guaranteed for life.

Bad news - you need the receipt (which I don't have).

I do not route the hose through the ring on the wall, and whenever we are not actually using the RV I put the head on the floor. Can't bounce out while traveling.

Would not have prevented it from breaking, but would have prevented the hole in the floor.

Yea, I thought of that while I was standing there surveying the carnage. I didn't use the ring either so we could use the head to wash the kids/dog. But I didn't foresee it breaking (or bouncing out during travel either). Lesson learned.
