Oxygenics upgrade

In the latest CW mailing, I notice they have the new Oxygenics Fury handheld shower head. Has anyone tried this yet, or is it too new? With the popularity of the original Oxygenics, I'm wondering if folks think this new version would be worth the extra bucks. The sale price is $58.99. If anyone has had a chance to try it, I'd like to hear what you think.

me too...I have one in my shopping cart, but not the one you speak of. I've heard so much about them I'm thinking of trying it out in my house that has lousy pressure in our shower. I wonder though, because it says hand held, and the photos look as if there is now downward tilt, if it is strictly a hand held unit. It looks like it would shoot straight out when you turn it on. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, it says it's out of stock..both colors.

I had this in my 5'r I just sold. It was a lot nicer than than the original shower head and had a lot more pressure too. It was great when hooked up to city water but I had an issue with the water pump. This shower head reduces the amount of water flowing so when you turned on the shower, the pump would kick on and then once pressure built up in the lines, the pumped kicked off. Since this shower head didn't have enough flow it caused the water pump to pulse on and off about every second. Wasn't an issue in the shower and it kinda ran similar to a massage shower. I never had any issues with the pump but I only used for one season before I sold it. Not sure if it would decrease the life of the pump or not...

Don't know who actually makes it, but it is characterized in the Camping World catalog as "Fury Handheld Shower by Oxygenics." That's really all I know about it.

Saw it too. Think I might order it for our new Sabre that we'll pick up in April. Amazon doesn't show them yet so I think it's a brand new design.

I was thinking of ordering one of these. Only $40. Only thing is, they don't have a shutoff switch. Has anyone installed their own shutoff? I'm worried it may bring the head down too low if I go that route. http://www.speakmanshowers.com/pub/s...ue-shower-head

Right, I realize that. I was just asking if anyone has used a shower head without a shutoff valve and added their own shutoff valve.
