Plumbing grey tanks together
We have a 2012 Palomino T245 travel trailer which we bought last year. One of the reasons we decided on this trailer was the fact that it had a 78 gallon grey water capacity which meant fewer trips to the dump station with the tote. Then we figured out that the 2 tanks were totally separate which posed a problem for us. We rarely use the galley sink for anything other than a quick rinse of a dish or whatever. We do our dishes outside. So the galley tank is pretty much useless to us which really limits the grey water capacity. Is it feasible and/or practical to somehow plumb these 2 tanks together so they can both be filled while camping and just emptied at the dump station when leaving? The under belly is totally enclosed and I haven't had the panels down to take a look yet. But has anyone done this or is there any other alternative to make use of both tanks shy of filling buckets at the valve connection and dumping them in the galley sink?
