Portable Holding Tanks

Is anyone using Barker 4 wheel Tote-Along with pneumatic wheels? If so, how does it work & do you think it is worth the money?
Am currently using 32 gal. 2 wheel & if I put too much in it, it is a real bear to move.
Would appreciate any info.

I use a 27 gallon 4 wheeled thetford tote and have used it for 6 years. Had to replace the hose twice, but sure beats packing up to go dump the tanks. Pulls easily by hand to the truck and attaches to the ball for towing to dump station

We have a Barker 42 gallon tote that I had made some mods to it. I added 2 pneumatic tires from Harbor Freight and hard rubber front wheels from Grainger. We've had it for 5 years now and use it for staying a week or more (dumping every 3 days) lakeside so we don't have to move the TT. I can pull it over dirt, gravel, small sticks, etc., haven't had any issues. I use the Rhino hose that I use with the trailer to dump into the Barker, then bungee the handle to the hitch.

Thanks for the replies. Think I'm going to try the Barker 25 or 32 gal. with pneumatic tires. The 2 wheel I have is 32 gal. & with water at 8.33# per gallon it gets very heavy. Think the air filled tires will roll better & for sure be quieter.

Wanted to let ya'll know that I've received my Barker 25 gal. tote, & though I haven't used it yet, I have assembled it & am pretty impressed with the quality.It has pneumatic tires with tubes (not tubeless) so it should more reliably hold air. Also each wheel has a grease fitting & it has sealed bushings (not bearings) & this is a major plus. Comes with everything needed to use it; you don't need to purchase anything else. Will report back (if I can remember to) after I've used it, hopefully with another good report. If interested I got it at www.rvpartscountry; best price I found.

Used my new Barker tote tank last week & it worked great. Very easy to roll around by hand.

I don't have a pic of our 32 gal. Barker in use but here's a pic of it packed in the pickup bed ready to travel. You'll notice the slope of the outlet and the big pneumatic tires on the rear. The front tires are pneumatic, too, but smaller and on a swivel. As PapaGLS said, it's very easy to maneuver around but it's heavy when its full. The white metal handle has that loop on the end to go over the hitch ball. The last time I used it I wished there was a way to secure the loop to the hitch ball because the road from our site to the dump station was hilly and in clanked as it pulled back and forth.

PapaGLS, do yo have any suggestions on how to securely attach it to the hitch ball?

Sounds like a good idea to me.
