Anybody use one of these. They come in a variety of sizes. Some come with pumps. Any pros or cons. Thanks, Total Bliss.

We have the 40gal blue one... love it. Have found a couple ways of transferring water easily... If possible, first and foremost- gravity. Second best is a harbor freight 12V transfer pump and our freshwater hoses. Third and have yet to try out is to use the diverter valve, onboard water pump and outdoor shower. (Flip diverter to winterize, connect water bladder to antifreeze inlet port, unscrew shower head from outdoor shower and put hose from shower head into freshwater fill for tank. Open cold water valve on shower and allow pump to fill tank)

We have toted it in the back of the pickup and have also put it in the back of a SUV. Not so sure about putting one on a roof, although it is tempting for the gravity advantage...

I have seen it on the roof. Not sure I want to put over 400lbs. on the roof. Seems like a lot of stress up there. Thanks for the reply Diesel

We do a lot of dry camping on the beach. I use a blue bladder. I connect a regular rv water pump to the bladder and plug it into the truck battery. I then run a water hose to the city water inlet. This lets me use the water in the bladder and keep the water in the tank as a reserve. That way I don't have to keep transferring water.

Thanks jwedell. You would be the one with some experience on my next question. Where do you dump if you are on the beach. We have looked for dumping stations on highways on the net, and so forth. They are available, but are there more than what online info gives.

We have dump stations on the way off. Also I leave the Barker Tank in the back of the truck and use a FloJet pump and garden hose to pump the RV tanks into the Barker tank while on the beach. I use the 4 wheeler Barker with the gate valve on the side. Works great. When we're traveling on the road we use a Camp & RV app for the Ipad and always verify with a phone call.
