Prime Time Tracer electric hot water not working

I have a new 2014 Tracer and the electric hot water doesn't work. I filled with water and turned on the Atwood switch in the bathroom. The light between the electric and gas doesn't illuminate. I left the switch on for an entire day, no hot water. Used the gas and that works great. Is there another switch to turn on the water heater and where is it?Click image for larger version

Just to make sure, but you must be plugged into a form of 120 volt shore power for the electric side to work. The propane side will work off batteries but not the electric side.

Look on the backside of the water heater, for another main switch to turn on, and also to be sure the water heater is plugged into an outlet (which sometimes get's forgotten at the factory).

Also check your RV's breakers to make sure the water heater electrical circuit is flipped on.

Hope you find the problem.

Did you check your breakers?

I have a 14 prime time unit that has both switches like pic above. Mine works on gas and elec but I can tell you that I've never seen that light come on. I Don't think it is suppose too.

The light only comes on when using gas option - and it will only come briefly as it lights

We have a 2015 255 air and were having the same problem till I've noticed that only one of the valves that go out of my hot water tank was on and the other had a bypass was still in place.

But to have hot water you have too have both on gas and electric. This new water heater doesn't have a tempature set gage like my old Wildwood had

Behind a set of drawers in the kitchen, towards the back of the unit, by the rear of the hot water tank

Check your wires on the water heater, when I picked mine up electric side didn't work ground wire came loose in wire nut.

I have service from where I bought it looking at it today as a delivery - not functioning call (in addition to my legend tv and warped wood). I'll provide an update.

The root cause of the electric hot water issue was the circuit board. Colton RV ordered a new one and will install it.

New circuit board installed, electric hot water working great. One thing I noticed is that when I hit the switch to turn it on that the red indicator between the electric and gas switch flashes for a fraction of a second. This didn't happen before. No flash is an indicator of a bad circuit board.
