Problem using direct water source

We just purchased our 2010 Cedar Creek 5th wheel (36RE) and have hooked up to the water source in the RV park. However, we can't get the water to run directly from the source. We have tested the city water and the pressure is adequate. We are able to fill our fresh water tank (turning the lever to "gravity"), but when we want to run just off the city water (no pump) we get nothing. Is there a valve we are missing that needs to be turned on or off? In our last RV, we just hooked up the hose and we had water. When we turn the lever to "city water" and turn off the pump, our faucets run until the water that was in the line is exhausted and then we get nothing. The only way we can get water is to use the pump and run off the fresh water tank. Needless to say, we don't want to wear out our pump. Any ideas or help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum, sounds like your CC isin the winter bypass mode, is your tank filling up? on my 2010 Blue Ridge it's a pain, I have to crawl up in storage area to change my valves.

Our tank is filling up just fine. Any idea where to check/change the valve? Can't find anything in any manual we received.
