Question Pulsing water pump.

Not sure if this normal and our water pump has done this from day one.

When we use the taps in the bathroom sink the water pump pulses. There is a steady stream of water, but the pump has to keep building pressure. This happens with both the hot water and cold water taps and there aren't any leaks.

Is this normal for the water pump to pulse?

With the kitchen and bath tub faucets and flushing the toilet the pump runs continuous and maintains pressure.

Almost seems like the faucet in the bathroom sink isn't providing enough back pressure to the pump to maintain continuous water pressure. The bathroom sink faucet is also the closest to the pump.

Search this site and Amazon for 'water accumulator'. Should solve your issue. Mine doesn't pulse, but I put one in after reading the benefits. Was very easy in my 27HFS.

This is not normal and being it happens only in the bathroom sink I suggest you try this first.
Removing the bathroom faucet screen and turn hot/cold water on and see if it still does it. My bet is you have garbage built up there.
Just wash it out with full open valves.
If this doesn't work you may have to turn water off and check the faucet valve to see if it has garbage there.

No need to buy accumulator .

Not sure exactly what the deal was, but it must have been the bathroom faucet aerator.

I pulled the aerator apart and couldn't really see any debris in it, but it looked like it was assembled wrong.

I compared it to the one in the kitchen faucet and reassembled it differently.

The water pump is no longer pulsing when using the bathroom faucet.

Also not sure why they have 4 screens in both the kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators.

GREAT.
And we all learn something new.
Thanks and glad the problem is solved.

Thanks Iggy

The components inside the aerator appeared to be jammed together which I think was restricting the flow. Changed them around a bit and seems to be working good now.
