Still waiting for it to quit raining to do anything else...

OK and not to beat a dead horse (too much!) but did you try that since closing the low point drains? I assume if they were open, the water would pump right out the drains...but then you may not see any come out of a faucet inside. {end of beating}

If you have had the hose fittings off of the pump they have o rings in them that will fall out and roll away. If an o ring is missing it will not pump.

I have gotten an adapter to use the compressed air method to winterize and if I don't get the pump working before the freeze, I'll just blow out the lines, pour in the antifreeze and disconnect the lines to the pump and the toilet valve to try to make sure any remaining water flows out. Hopefully that will be enough.

Thank you all again for your time and assistance!

If you still can't get the pump to draw antifreeze after trying Still Kickin's suggestion, and you want to get some antifreeze in the plumbing, might I make a suggestion?

Since you mentioned maybe having help and the ability to being able to blow out your system, simply fill your water hose with antifreeze, attach the hose to the city water connection, attach the blow out plug to the other end of the hose and 'blow' antifreeze in.

It might take a few times of refilling the hose but you'd have peace of mind you have some pink stuff in there.

It's just a thought if you determine the pump is shot and you decide to wait until dewinterizing to replace it.

Best of luck!

I know there are a lot of replies, but have you tried putting the antifreeze jug up on a bucket or ladder? Like Ford Idaho has in his pic?

Since so many so kindly tried to help me with this, I thought I'd update the final resolution. Somewhere in all these replies I believe I reported that I gave up on the pump and winterized using the compressed air method, then disconnecting and draining the lines to the pump. Got the trailer in for service this week and they found the pump was indeed faulty and replaced it for me under warranty.

I should say too that I was very pleased with RV Station in Colbert, OK. One of the service managers actually scheduled my appt and worked with me when I arrived. Because they had a pump in stock, they had me out of there in 1.5 hrs. Unlike the dealership where I bought the trailer, who couldn't even get me in for 2 months and then wanted me to leave it for an unspecified amount of time.

Anyway, thank you to everyone here who took the time to help me learn!

Terrib, I'm with the site team and noticed your desire to mark your water pump thread as Resolved so I added a phrase to the title. That still allows people to learn from it (as Evereddie suggested) without trying to re--solve the problem.
