purge the fresh water system

I have a Salem 38'
I filled up the fresh water tank and opened the faucets, turned on the water pump, but I can not purge the air out of the system. I let the pump run for quite a while and still get air/water spitting out of the faucets. I turned off all the faucets and let the pump run for quite a while to build up pressure but the same results. I am bypassing the hot water tank till I get all the antifreeze out of the system.
On my previous trailer it only took a couple of minutes to do this.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Hello,
I had the same problem the first time I took my trailer out after we bought it last month. Messed with it for over two hours since we are newbies to rving. After lengthy troubleshooting, I discovered that the dealer left the valve that switches between the fresh water tank and the hose to pump antifreeze into the system toward the open line thus sucking air. Turned the cable and problem solved. Hope this helps!

That was an excellent find....I don't know if I would have ever thought about that.
