Question - Replacing City Water Connection
Before I tear into it and risk making things worse thought I'd ask here first.... I'd like to replace the fitting on my City Water Connection as the threads have seen better days. There are three phillips screws that are holding the fitting in place. Is it that simple to replace? Not sure what to expect when I start peeling the onion.. I bought my 2014 Micro-Lite used and haven't camped yet but hopefully soon. As always thanks for your advice.

Can use a phillips but are actually square drive. I have pulled several out and not all were the same. Could be pex crimped/removable clamp/threaded etc.. Pull it out and see.

Thanks. I'll pull it apart tomorrow and see what I find. And yes, I'll use a square drive.

Replaced one like that on my Coachmen. Holes lined up with original. Make sure you buy some butyl tape for the new install. 10 minute job.
Here is a link to OEM replacement.

Replaced mine about a month ago. Via Amazon, bought a Valterra A01-0169lFVP, which has a brass threaded insert instead of the plastic threads.
Simple 10 minute install. Hose at rear threads on just like a faucet fitting. No pex or pex crimp needed.

Easy. Replaced mine last summer. The O-ring between the threaded part and flange had worked itself out part way and got to where it would not turn. I replaced it with a all metal one. Holes were a tiny bit off but not so you'd notice once assembled.

Thank you. It'll be a week before the new one arrives and I'll replace it then, and thanks to everyone who replied.

Every one of us should have a #1 and #2 Robertson screwdriver for these fasteners. They're all over the units. Square drives and Phillipses will work if the fastener isn't too tight. Using a Robertson is the best way to go, IMHO.

Make sure you secure the hose when you disconnect it from the outside connection. If it falls back inside you could be tearing the inside apart getting it back out!
