Rhino Flex Sewer hose replacement

When should I replace my Rhino Flex sewer hose? I got it in 2007, seems to be getting a little stiff and I really don't want to run into an issue I cant recover from

Replace it the day before it falls apart. Really though, if any doubts, replace it.

FYI Most hoses will have a few pin holes before total failure.

I emailed Camco and they got back to me today. I wanted to paste their comment here so everyone knows

"Thank you for your email. There is no expected “lifetime” of the RhinoFlex. It sounds like you take great care of it and if you continue to do so it should continue to last you, however it couldn’t hurt to have a spare in case of emergencies"

You can get a 15' kit for $33, I'd say after six years it's time and at just over $5.50 a year that's been a good investment. If your elbow is still good you can get a 10' hose for $20. I'd replace it and keep the hard plastic parts as spares.

If you are starting to worry about it then it wouldn't hurt to replace it. You could keep the older one as backup in case you need a longer hose.
