Rockwood 2109s water pump and heater fail

I have had a Rockwood mini lite 2109s for over a year now and suddenly I cant activate water pump or water heater through control panel neither electric or gas , took out surge protector, Checked all fuses and breakers even inline for battery and water pump and switch for suburban water heater and battery disconnect, no luck. checked control panels connectors also. Gas stove and furnace and microwave and reefer all function well. Found Battery dry as a bone but no apparent cracks. Control panel goes dead when water pump switched on (without results) Have filled battery with distilled water and charged. The CO monitor went off for no apparent reason. May try replacing battery , dead cell ? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated

Since you say that the battery was 'bone dry', I'd start by just replacing it. However, if you want to you could charge it and take it to a local parts store and have them test it. But in all likelihood it's going to test bad.

Having said that, do the appliances work on shore power?
Did you try them on shore power with the battery disconnected?

Agree that if your battery was dry, you likely damaged it beyond redemption. If it was dry, distilled water won’t fix it, rather filling with sulphuric acid MIGHT have helped. I would disconnect it and see if a different battery (maybe using jumper cables to your tow vehicle) can give you a better indication or confirmation that a new battery will solve your problem.

Thanks for suggestions.

Took to dealer and they traced down a short in line leading to control panel under trailer and covered by underliner.

No apparent nicks or cuts maybe stretched or snagged during construction and manifested itself nearly 22 months after purchase . Removed and replaced 4” of wire where continuity failed.

Covered by extended warranty paid the $50 deductsble. Turned out OK this time much relieved.
