I have a 2008 Rockwood Roo 21RS and I wanted to make sure my bypass system for my trailer is set up correctly. It appears I have a valve for the cold line going to the water tank and for the hot there doesn't appear to be a valve for shutoff. There is however a seperate hose going from the cold to the hot that has a valve. Is this the bypass valve? When it comes to winterzing what do I do: Drain Hotwater tank, close cold line valve and open up seperate hose valve to winterize. You can see in the photo the two valves.
You are correct Close the bottom one and open the top one that will stop the flow of water to your heater and bypass back to your line, kinda like a closed loop
Thanks for the reply. Now that I have the hot water tank bypass verified I need to install a bypass for the water pump. Currently there is only a line going from the fresh water holding tank to the electric pump. No valve in the middle or hose for antifreeze suction. I'll get that installed and post some pics. Thanks Again.
