Secondary Monitor Panel

Hi all - I've got a fifth wheel with the standard convenience center and your normal factory information / monitor center inside the camper. As many people have noted, it is difficult to know when the fresh water tank is full or nearly so. Since the water inlet is in the convenience center, wouldn't it be nice to have another monitor panel in there as well? That way you can check the fresh water tank level as you are filling it. Is it possible? Does it have to match existing? It would also be nice to monitor the other tank levels from there, buy not as important. Any one have any ideas on this?

I found some non-contact level sensor switches on eBay last fall. I used them to make a back up system for the black and gray tanks. The factory indicators are wildly inaccurate and I added LEDs that can be seen outside and buzzers for when the tanks are nearly full. I attached them to the tanks with double sided foam tape.

It’s a good diy project if you can get at the tanks and you can do some light wiring.
