Sewer Flusher

2008 Cedar Creek, 34STATS....The sewer flusher pipe goes up under the sink in the bathroom where there is some type of "vent" and thenreturns to go to blank tank.
Any idea what this vent is ?

Are you sure it's a vent? It's probably a back flow preventer valve.
